About the Job

As our IT Support Associate you will be the first point of contact for day to day IT topics at our local office and help create a smooth IT experience for our growing team in China.

You will support colleagues with devices, hardware, user accounts and collaboration tools, work closely with our IT team in Germany and coordinate with local colleagues during onboarding and offboarding.

This role is a great fit if you already have first hands-on experience in IT support and are looking for an opportunity to grow your skills, take ownership and help shape how our local IT setup develops as DeepDrive grows in China.

Your Tasks

  • Be the first point of contact for IT related questions and issues at our Shanghai office

  • Set up, maintain and troubleshoot Windows devices, peripherals and general office IT hardware

  • Support employee onboarding and offboarding from an IT perspective, including devices, user accounts and access management

  • Work closely with HR and other local colleagues to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new team members

  • Coordinate and support the procurement of IT equipment for the Shanghai office

  • Provide basic troubleshooting and user support for collaboration tools such as email, Microsoft Teams, Lark/Feishu, SharePoint and OneDrive

  • Work closely with our IT team in Germany and coordinate local IT topics with them

  • Support the implementation of IT security and compliance standards

  • Keep IT processes, setups and recurring issues well documented

  • Help us continuously improve our local IT processes, tools and ways of working

Your Profile

  • First practical work experience in IT support, ideally in first level support or a similar environment

  • Good knowledge of Windows devices and Windows device management

  • Hands-on experience with common office IT hardware

  • Fluent Chinese and English communication skills

  • A strong willingness to learn new tools, systems and technologies

  • A structured, reliable and self organized way of working

  • A hands-on mindset and genuine interest in solving problems and supporting colleagues

It’s a Plus If You Have

  • Basic knowledge of network infrastructure

  • Knowledge of cloud technologies or large cloud providers, including IaaS, PaaS or SaaS environments

  • Experience with Microsoft 365 administration

  • Experience with Lark/Feishu administration
