About the Job

As a Process Development Engineer for Electric Motors (m/f/x), you develop, optimize and industrialize manufacturing processes for our electric motors. You analyze existing workflows, identify improvement potential and develop technical solutions to continuously improve quality, efficiency and process stability.

In this role, you work close to the product, prototype production and technical implementation. You support new manufacturing technologies from the first idea through evaluation and testing to implementation in production. You collaborate closely with design engineering, production, quality and external suppliers.

At our current stage, experience in e mobility, electric motor manufacturing or the automotive environment is especially important. You bring a strong understanding of industrialization, technical production and practical implementation and ideally have already worked with manufacturing processes for electric drives, stator, rotor, assembly or testing. Your work directly contributes to building and further developing our production capabilities.

Your Tasks

  • Develop, optimize and industrialize manufacturing processes for electric motors, particularly in the areas of stator, rotor, assembly and testing

  • Analyze existing manufacturing processes and derive as well as implement improvement measures related to quality, efficiency and process stability

  • Plan, test and introduce new manufacturing technologies, fixtures, equipment and systems

  • Translate development requirements into stable, repeatable and scalable production processes

  • Analyze process deviations, failure patterns and quality issues and implement sustainable improvement measures

  • Create and further develop process documentation, work instructions and SOPs

  • Train and support production staff when new or changed processes are introduced

  • Collaborate closely with design engineering, production, quality and external suppliers

Your Profile

  • Degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, manufacturing engineering, production engineering or a comparable qualification

  • Relevant experience in the development, optimization or industrialization of manufacturing processes, preferably in e-mobility, electric motor manufacturing, automotive, Tier 1 or technical production

  • Experience in an automotive or e mobility production environment is highly preferred

  • Good understanding of manufacturing, assembly and production technology as well as quality related requirements in manufacturing

  • Experience in introducing new processes, technologies, systems, fixtures or equipment

  • Experience with stator, rotor, assembly processes, testing processes or manufacturing technologies for electric drives is a major advantage

  • Structured, independent and solution oriented way of working with a strong interest in practical implementation

  • Ideally, experience with automation technologies, process analysis, lean methods or structured problem solving methods

  • Experience in a dynamic environment, for example startup, prototype production, ramp up or OEM, is a plus

  • Good German skills and English skills for technical documentation and international collaboration
