Your Tasks
- Oversee and coordinate the full setup of the China WFOE, including all registrations, licenses, bank accounts, tax setup, and company chops
- Act as the main contact for government offices, banks, advisors, and external service partners
- Ensure full compliance with China GAAP, tax rules, and regulatory obligations from day one
- Implement internal controls, approval flows, and core company policies
- Set up the full accounting framework, including systems, chart of accounts, and reporting
- Oversee daily accounting operations (AP/AR/GL/fixed assets) and prepare all financial statements
- Manage tax filings (AP/AR/GL/fixed assets) and coordinate external audits
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow planning, for the start up phase and CAPEX tracking for factory build‑up
- Support HQ reporting and ensure accurate cost tracking for manufacturing ramp‑up
- Oversee all office and factory administration
- relationship management with vendors and external service providers
- Build efficient administrative processes to support a growing production site
- Support management with local compliance and operational coordination
For the initial startup phase, the Finance&Admin Officer will be in charge for following HR activities as well:
- Set up core HR foundations, including policies, contracts, onboarding process, and compliant employee documentation
- Lead or oversee recruitment for production workers and key local roles, either directly or through an HR assistant
- Manage payroll, social insurance, and housing fund processes with external partners
- Support headcount planning, labor cost control, and HR reporting
- Act as the link between operations, HR, and payroll providers to ensure smooth HR processes
Your Profile
- 8+ years in finance/accounting, ideally in manufacturing contexts
- Proven experience with WFOE setup or early-stage factory establishment, preferable in the automotive industry
- Strong knowledge of PRC accounting, tax rules, and labor regulations
- Experience in HR setup, recruitment (incl. blue‑collar), and payroll processes
- Hands‑on, structured, proactive, and comfortable in a fast‑moving, entrepreneurial environment
- Able to communicate effectively with both shopfloor teams and management functions
- Fluent in English and Chinese
